I have been a furniture restorer in Winchester for over 30 years, preserving and restoring both antique and modern pieces. Whether it’s a broken drawer handle or badly water-damaged cabinet, each item is treated with the same care and attention.

I undertake all aspects of furniture repair and restoration, including:
- The complete dismantling and reassembly of chairs with loose joints
- Structural repairs to, or the replacement of, damaged chair parts
- Structural repairs to antique and modern armchairs and sofas
- Structural repairs to all types of furniture, such as chest of drawers, desks, bookcases, tables etc
- Repairs to draw runners, damaged beading, moulding, bracket feet etc
- Replacement of missing beading or moulding
- Stripping back of tired, damaged or painted finishes and then applying a new finish, using traditional or modern methods.
- Removal of stains, ring marks, watermarks, burn marks, scratches and dents
- Repairs to damaged and lifting veneer, as well as the replacement of missing veneer
- Replacement of desk leathers
- Replacement of broken panes of glass in display cabinets etc
- Repairs to mirror frames and replacement of broken mirrors
- Repairs to mechanisms on any furniture with moving parts, such as roll top desks
- Cleaning and polishing
- Painting of indoor and outdoor furniture
